Video, I will admit is quite new to me. However photography is something I have been doing for years. The past two years I have had to work on sundays, so I have missed lots of car shows, but this year I have sundays off again, and can go to every car show of the year now. I have photoshoots planned with a local volkswagen club, as well as my friends have a few particularely eccentric (I think thats the word I am looking for?) cars that I have ideas with.

I am looking for creative photography ideas with cars as i am currently gearing up for the season. If its a specific angle, or even vehicle specific, I will consider anything suggested.

I always view this as my "artsie" shot

Ive always been a sucker for artistic closeup shots - corners of trim where panels intersect, grille and headlight bezels, nameplates and badges on classic cars, leather straps or minimalist handles and interiors of vintage racers...that sort of thing gets me every time!

You'll have a hard time getting this shot over the summer

Get low. Use light in creative ways or bring your own. This was at Oshkosh. The lights were already there.
