Did anyone have any issues with the 2013 TC fitment to the 2015 legacy motor?
2008 JDM Forrester Crosst Sport.
So I did the same thing - bolted up the engine with the torque converter incorrectly seated and it wouldnt move when I tried to turn it. Took the motor back out only to realise that the concertor could not go in far enough and the shaft was stuck. Made a tool similar to what ive seen on this page and finally got it out. I actually bought a transmission thinking that mine was destroyed and saw that some of you were able to just replace the shaft and have success. So I and am going to try the shaft from the transmission that I bought - This thread was very very helpful, so iI figure id add my 2 cents to keep it going. Much thanks guys!!!!

The puller that my muffler guy made me - The transmission that I bought and the damage ..
I still have a batch of these pump shafts.
I have 1 or 2 people a year get in touch with me from time to time. Glad this is still circulating. I'm down to my last 2009 Forester that kid #2 is driving... after that, it's parts purge time for me :)
