Have you folks seen their latest project?
they’re building a car hauler.
Do they know what a smoke wrench is? Seems a lot of trouble when it's gonna be scrap and they could heat/ cut the bolts off.

Maybe they did try using a torch, but the batteries ran out before it heated any bolts.
The problem with that episode is all of us have fought rusted bolts. There is nothing exciting about that, and never will be. I made it to the beginning of the bumper removal and moved on to something else.
At this point, I'd tune in to watch those guys drink tea. Yeah, not the most ground breaking installment, but from humble beginnings, and all...
Hey, they didn’t fight, didn’t scream at each other, didn’t claim that “this rare part can’t be found anywhere on this continent”, didn’t argue about showing up late and weren’t blabbing about deadlines. All I saw were a couple guys working on “cars”.
That’s worth a LOT to me!

Sometimes the entertainment is not the story being told, but how it's told.
In reply to Ian F :
A skilled storyteller could even make the construction of a Lotus Seven riveting.

Sometimes. Their shtick is moderately entertaining, but I'm more interested in their methods than their madness.
If you think towing a trailer is a pain, now get something just as long, but it doesn't pivot in the middle,
and the car is put 3ft higher up.
I hate my trailer ramps, I am going to build one that doesn't need ramps, I think that will make towing a trailer a LOT better.
Whoops, wrong video.
"It must make a pretty good boat anchor?"
"I'm guessing it'd be slow and noisy getting to the bottom."
"Does it have ANY redeeming features?"
"It's not as pointless as an X6."

They did reference a "fire ax" and while watching I immediately thought a cutting torch.

"Gas ax" is the English equivalent of "smoke wrench", from everything I have gathered.
Was also greatly amused that it is official practice on both side of the pond to NOT TALK ABOUT HOW EASILY IT'S GOING. Shut up, the car can hear you!
