Sure enough, didn't look close enough and that place looks just like Summit's Barn Course. Where was it?
Here's (what I assume is) the same car back in 2013 running with us
When I was regularly competing in Oregon back in the late-90's, early-2000's, I remember a Lincoln Town Car competing (complete with regular-on-the-local-rally-scene driver dressed in a pimp outfit!) as well as a local collector bringing out his Lancia Delta S4 Stradale to one event, and his Ford Escort RS1700T (RWD Mk4 Group B prototype) to another event! Neither of the Group B cars was completely inappropriate, just unexpected.
That black benz pic just was cool to see and thanks for sharing. Seeing the 60s stang was fun. Some fun photos. I have been to one rally cross to watch and ride with someone who used a rental carmero on the track. I think i might have some video, not sure. have to check my facebook page.
The Dirty Jag is pretty unexpected but it's killer.
Last year at the National Tour at Ross County a guy showed up in a rental Audi Q5(?). That was unexpected for sure.
Oh my!
Hadn't looked at this thread before. That lifted Miata in the early post is like a train wreck. One is aghast but for some reason you just can't look away! I want to see it run!!

That was an animated GIF.
Definitely interested in getting into rally now that Summit Point is starting back up. Not sure when though as Covid guidelines has made everything there a bit of a mess

IIRC that was Donald Carl (past national champ and the guy that almost won PF on all seasons this year) after a last minute car failure or something. He finished second in SA by a relatively small margin to a guy who I believe is now also a national champion.
