I've been excited about this car for a long time. I've also been a Nissan guy for a while I guess.  I loved my 350Z, but in the days of 300hp Camry's, my Z wasn't quick enough.  I really wanted a turbo car,  but didn't want to go through the expense and buildup on the 350 to make that happen.  This is the hot ticket for me.   Can't wait to see what the aftermarket does here.

ATTENTION: The article says mid-40s as a starting price.

All the talk about $34k is months old and not true. Every article about the car the last month or so has mid-40s as the starting the price. Not sure why people expected it to be only a few thousand more than the starting price of a BRZ.

So I figure with $50k or more with options or higher trim levels.

That feels right for this level of car but it puts it outside of my stretch price range for a toy - honestly so did 35 but I thought if I sold something to help offset and stretched a bit...35 may as well be 40 by the time you get it out the door with sales tax etc.  40 would get me a nice C7 which if I'm being honest is more to my liking anyway. Or I could keep my Mustang and finish my F100 project and buy Mrs Seadoorider a new(er) ride which is probably what will happen
