For years and years, I’ve wondered under what circumstances I’d be writing my first column in Grassroots Motorsports. Starting out, of course, I wasn’t too worried about it–as an 8-year-old kid autocrossing go-karts, I figured my father, Tim, would keep writing these columns for the magazine while I climbed the pro racing ladder into an eventual Formula 1 seat.

Well said!
In a time when many media organizations seem to be desperately trying to reinvent themselves, this one understands where they fit in, and how to connect with their enthusiast community. It has been amazing to watch the development of Grassroots Motorsports over the last 40 years, and I think it is in good hands going forward.
Glad to have you at the helm, Tom! Keep kicking butt.
Tom, I've known who you were for many years but only interacted briefly on a couple of occasions. Getting to hang out at Lemons last weekend was a fun experience and I have confirmed you're a good dude :) Grassroots Motorsports is the only publication and place on the internet that seems to completely align with my approach to this hobby. Good luck and continued success to you, Brother!

That's fantastic!
Speaking as someone whose family business did not make it to the next generation, it's probably hard for you to recognize what a huge accomplishment that is for everyone involved!
Wow. How cool. It seems like just yesterday I remember you being that kid in that go-kart. Congrats, Tom!
Amazing to watch the humble AutoX magazine grow into GRM, even more amazing to watch the next generation step into the driver's seat. I'd say GRM is in very good hands. Keep 'em coming and we'll keep on reading!
Congrats Tom! Love the read each issue.
Thanks to all GRM staff present and past.
Tom, good to see ya. You said it well. You'll be OK doing this.
Tom
You officially have made me feel old. I remember when you were just a little kid. I have kids your age. To see you now leading the GRM train is really cool. The biggest thing I see is that you seem to be very level headed and professional while at the same time you let your passion comes through. It is really no surprise to me that you are now where you are. We are lucky to have you!!! Your Mom and Dad are lucky to have you to allow them to take a step back and smell the roses. To let you deal with the day to day stuff a publisher has to deal with.
Congratulations!!!!
You Got This !!!!
Congratulations on reaching this milestone. It's good to know the future of GRM is in hands that understand and value its past, and that's what will keep me (and probably many others) as supporters and subscribers. I wish you nothing but the best (for all our sakes). Cheers.
Thank you all so, so much for the positive feedback; I'm going to try my best to not let you down.
