I don't think the spacing is the same. In any case, the fuel rail for a 16v is a little different than on most cars. To clear the intake manifold, it has to have long "legs" that stick down between the runners to the injector ports. See Corey's picture.

Yeah, I wasn't suggesting MY exact solution to this problem, merely adopting a SIMILAR solution to a SIMILAR problem. Meaning, yeah the measurements aren't the same, but there may be something that is. The legs can be resolved fairly easily with access to a lathe and some aluminum from metals depot. You'd need to fab some stand offs anyway. If you don't have access to a lathe, then a place like emachineshop.com, etc might get what you need done.

See I was under the impression you could get any old ABA (typically $300 or less) and slap a good 16valve head on it. I have no idea what known good 16 valve heads go for these days, but I've seen whole motors go for less than $500 so....

ABA with a 16V head ends up with around or under 8:1 compression ratio. Good for boost but without custom pistons it isnt gonna move very well.
