Holy crap that's the grossest thing I've heard all day.
Or at least since lunch.

Love the "Feels Like the First Time" playing in the background. First time the oil's been changed. Also liked the "Yikes" after the first gallon or two came out.
Looks a lot like the crap drained out of my wife's 3.4 Chevy after it blew the lower intake manifold gasket.
If it's coming to CMP next month, you might want to get busy.
question is.. what do you do with that water now.. obviously it is unfit for consumption... but isn't considered hazardous after being in an engine like that?

Fresh water vrs salt water, lol!
It's an American V8. Clearances are supposed to be measured with a ruler.
If the rods knock a little, just dump some STP motor honey in it. It'll run bad longer than most engines will run.

Exactly. You can't just dump it because it is hazardous, but on the other hand I am not sure a recycler would take back gallons and gallons of oily water.

I had a 5.0 filled with water, broke it down and found almost no rust, but now its drained get that MMO into it fast.

Stagnant water with a low ion content is a relatively good rust in inhibitor.
I'm assuming the engine had been run with the water and sludge content based on the oil pressure comments.
