95 Chevy Impala SS in black at local had station this past weekend. Had some flaked paint but good to see it daily driven.

This drove past me as I was pulling out of a parking lot yesterday. I sold my 1967 Plymouth in the same town 30 years ago, and thought it might be the same guy. Caught up to him as he pulled into the Kia (?!) dealership.
26,000 miles. Dual quad Hemi 4-speed.
Not mine...
Ford Explorer itself is a unicorn in Germany, and it seems to be a police variant. Maybe it's from military base?
In reply to Harvey You probably haven't seen one. they were unicorns when new, although the 4 cylinder turbo ones were pretty good cars. Way too expensive for something as discrete as they were in the 1980s.

They probably went discrete after the reaction to the 2 series “looks like an elephant sat on a two door”

My 2nd place dream Volvo after a 242 Turbo. I love the look of the 780 Bertone and it's got the good engine.
Why is a Cadillac SRX a unicorn? You ask. Because its a 2010 with the factory Saab 2.8 turbo V6 option. It was only offered in 2010 and less than 10% of buyers went for the turbo engine. This is only the third I've ever seen.

Yeah, in 1989 I used to work at a place that repaired euro cars including Volvos, but this would have been too new for them I think, this would still have been under warranty. In all the time since I've never seen one. I spotted this one at my local Stop & Shop and did a double take. Even dirty, the color and shape make it stand out.
