We shared an intersection yesterday. It looked great and had V8 sounds
never have I ever! 1 of 23. I was just telling the kids about the silliness of vinyl tops when I saw the owner get out with a drawing of a convertible Mark VIII on his shirt. I asked him and he told me Lincoln made 23 of them back in the day
In reply to P3PPY :
Lincoln had nothing to do with the convertible part of this. A company called Coach Builders modified them after they left the factory.

Makes sense.
Saw this in farm country today. Surprisingly fast, it was keeping up with traffic at 45 or so. Not fun to be next to it though.
I also saw something very much like this:
I was walking down the ramp in daughter's dorm and it drove by, phone was in her room. This was the closest pic I could find to it.

According to my son, who has never even visited a farm the tractor either a JCB or Challenger, lol. Too much farming simulator.
On one hand, the brake setup, exhaust note, diffuser size, and the fact that it was on the street suggest that this is not a real C8R. On the other hand, what kind of masochistic madman would put fixed lexan windows in a street car?
Edit: Zoomed-up crop view:

Kinda weird how those never got the love that it's competitors did. In some ways they were ahead of their time and, on paper, out performed the competition. 320hp, awd, 6spd, rws and active aero.

That raises so many questions but I think I've found the answer. It's actually a Mercury Cougar.
Edit: Video - description says there are 10 of these things out there:
Last night, I went to Orlando.
While heading there, I passed a BMW M2 heading north on I-95. It wore that iconic Long Beach Blue Metallic.
While coming home, I passed an M2–same color and also heading north on I-95 in pretty much the same spot.
Same car? M2 convention in town?

...1000+ pounds heavier than the other Japanese hypercars

IIRC those graphics and wing were a factory option in 2022, so they are a thing. That one looks to have a much more agressive wing fitted though.

Didn't they also make working on a 300ZX Twin Turbo look easy?
Someone a grade above me had a twin turbo Stealth or 3000GT back when they were new, can't remember which. Had to be the most expensive car in the whole high school parking lot.
