I saw a Murano convertible recently. It was just as bad as the pictures make it look.
Maybe its the precursor to all the luxury lifted 'coupes' that the Germans are building now. Only a matter of time before they lop to tops off for more $$$.
The top of a convertible's door should never come anywhere close to touching John Davis' nipple.

The VW Fox was an A1 or A2 junkyard hunters nightmare. Close enough to be mistaken for either, look the same when they are buried in 3 feet of weeds, but absolutely no parts worth pulling for an A1 or A2.
The local yard had an absolute pile of them, all in pretty nice shape. Brazillian made, as I recall.
meanwhile, I couldn't find a Fox wagon for under $2k when I was looking.
I have all of the drivetrain from a Quantum Syncro, should all slot right in. Syncros were built on FWD pans, and B2 front stuff sorta bolts into the Bx.
While not exactly a unicorn, I did see something interesting today.
It was a dark blue Z4 with the top down.
And Santa was driving!
I honked and waved as he went past and he waved back.
Never mind that it was 28°F
That made my day
Saw an OG soft top Mercedes G on the way to work the other day.
To whoever was driving the Panda AE86 with the Fujiwara Tofu Shop kanji on PA-512 in Wind Gap around 6:30pm today. I was at the Sunoco and you made my day.
Ran across this beautiful machine while helping a friend work on his FD RX-7. Word is it's sat for years in the same spot, seats were reupholstered and stored inside and it has a headgasket & electrical issue. Supposedly someone had offered him $15k and he wouldn't take it. What a waste to see such a sexy machine going to waste. It'd be interesting to see this thing end up with a newer VTEC powerplant. Whew I've only seen a handful of these in person, but damn they look even better in person!
Some interesting ones tonight. The baja isnt really a unicorn but the homemade topper is pretty cool. I just post all the Alltrac Previas and Camrys we have but they are so prevalent its almost not unicorn level.

Pulled my silver '03 Baja into a parking spot at Barnes & Noble and realized I was parked next to another silver '03 Baja. Considering that less than 11,000 were made in '03 (the strongest year of production) I would consider this a unicorn sighting
In reply to NickD :
Actually I would say an real Barnes & Noble store is a bigger unicorn than your subie.
Mercury Capri ASC McLaren
I saw a running Landrover Freelander the other day.
Lexus LC500 today on I-26 Eastbound about 20 miles west of Columbia, SC. I don't keep up with Lexi as they tend to be "fake sporty" at best these days, but it caught my eye. Looked like this but was burgundy...
I think Madame Secretari...ata might be hoping these depreciate quickly.

I saw Thom driving his Unimog last week. The horn is just totally wrong for that vehicle, sounded like a VW bug

The one I saw was this color and looked very nice.
I saw a black Focus RS on steel wheels coming out of the car wash next door.
I'm shocked that anyone would drive one in the winter. Usually, people who have enthusiast cars will have one or two other cars to drive.
/have a customer with a 700hp LT1 Camaro whose other car is a Smart. Continental makes snow tires for Smarts.

meh. we have a sales person here who's only car is a gt350
Saw a cream colored '67 Camaro RS on a U-Haul trailer on the Ohio turnpike today. Looked beautiful, maybe not 100% perfect but still a very nice survivor. No turn signals in the fenders so I assume it's a '67, anyway. Fender badge proclaimed that it was a 327 car.
Later on I-77, the guy passed me. From behind, I saw that it was sans skunk stripes and had black California plates on it.
Someone made out like a bandit!
In reply to Knurled. :
I drive my mustang all year because I bought it to drive it not baby it. Snow tires for the winter.
1976 Celica in service today. Amazing car.
I just saw an Email Summit, under power & on the road!
Edit: *Eagle -stupid spell check
In reply to etifosi :
How do you get Email on the street, was the mail man checking his phone?
I saw a Geo Tracker... with a plow!
In reply to Woody :
Fairly common out here in the North Country
A couple of winters ago, I saw an Escalade p/u and an ACCORD with plows
Saw a Toyota Previa with AWD badges on it yesterday. These weren't very common in the South to begin with.
