Is this Florida highway patrol? If so there are I believe 10 of those and 10 Challengers, watch out!
Didn't see many GTO's these days. I like them as a friend owned 2 but the front end looks dated especially in silver. I had to do a double take as I thought it was a fwd Pontiac model at first.

That at was my primary complaint about these too. They made much more sense as a 2001 Holden Monaro. By the time they were re-badged and brought over the design language was 5 years out of date. I admire their performance potential and stealthiness I guess, but ultimately thought they looked about as spicy as a ‘99 Corolla.

Yep, FHP.

So back in the 80’s my first job was building “submersibles” in Groton CT. GF at the time was in MA so I spent a lot of time on I95 heading back and forth on weekends. The CT staties had a bunch of Fox body notchbacks and even more craftily, Monte Carlo SS’s. They would reliably be parked just past the first bridge over the line from Rhode Island in Stonington every Sunday night with the radar gun out the drivers door trying to get the New York and New Jersey people heading back from a weekend on Cape Cod.

That's actually what I liked about them. Everybody else was going "retro", and GM dropped a sleeper. You never notice these until the driver gets on it and disappears. I've seen a few with some serious tuning done, and I love the fact that they look so plain.

I just saw one of these also, it was torn apart in a garage but they still are a rarity these days.
RHD Skyline, mid 90s Suburban with barn doors dropped tastefully and on nice wheels, mid 90s green 2 door Escort hatch, stock non lifted 2 door Tracker, 2 door Acura Legend Coupe that wasn't too rusted out, stock looking early to mid 90s MR-2.
I saw a guy driving around today in a 1957 DeSoto station wagon. It was green and white, exactly like this picture I found on the Mecum auction website.
Apparently I need to get my neighbors better. They rolled this off a trailer in front of their house today, just across the street from me. :o
I’m pretty sure that someone must have started hating this car back in 1987 and pushed into a garage for the next 30 years or so. That’s the only way I can explain it’s condition. No one would ever restore one.
I say this as someone who drove one from late 1985 through early 1988, when it was struck from behind by a drunk driver, who was also a suspect in the murder of multiple hookers. But he did pay his car insurance premiums.
I remember thanking him at the time.
