Detroit area cars and coffee is probably cheating, but....Lagonda.
At church this morning, guy had a straight rust free 95 s-10 reg cab long bed 5 speed. Jokingly I said he should get classic tags for it and his face went to .
Huh, hadn't thought about c8s being rare in other parts still. I'm up at ncm in bowling green so much if I don't see 3-4 it's kinda weird. Last time I was up a truck of them leaving town passed me.
Here's two at a light, not to mention the permanent ones at the track. Though I guess they won't be "unicorns" for much longer as delivery ramps up.

I much rather have the Alfa Milano behind it. Haven't seen one in ages.

No pics of the 6000 next to it?

Or the Milano on the other side?
Spotted today. Looked VERY clean and original. The older fella driving was probably the original owner.

In reply to TJL (Forum Supporter) :
TR8 Coupe is a true unicorn if it is original. Too easy to convert a TR7 though.

here is a back shot. I had to zoom in. At first i thought it was a X1/9 and i kinda like them so it got my attention.
I know nothing of triumphs, i just knew it wasnt a vehicle i see commonly. Shocker, it didnt seem to running great. He held up traffic leaving the stop light and i see his reverse lights are on but he wasnt backing up.
I think a good chunk of the TR8 coupes were automatics as well. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but there were maybe 50 brought over pre production to tour the US in '78 or '79? I think all production TR8s were convertibles. I bought an '80 TR7 convertible anniversary model in the early '80's and loved it. I test drove a TR8 also, but couldn't exactly afford and go to college too. It was so much better than the 7 though. I still want an 8 all these years later.
I see its a plate in the window so probably a dealer. We have a real big auto dealer auction down the road so it probably came from there. I'll keep an eye out for it. Will probably end up at a buy here, pay here lot.

I would have followed that guy home and held him at gunpoint until he adopted me.

The 6000 is the AWD one and there was a minty Fiero on the other side of the Milano. I failed everyone to be honest.
Edit: wait! I found something.
Also Delta for good measure.
924 Turbo maybe?
And an XJC
this concludes my cheaty photo dump.
So last weekend I had a sort of trifecta. On my home from Home Depot I stop at a red light. Ahead of me is a red FIATA, next to me is a Red C7 Vert and behind me was a Red Maserati GT convertible too.
Then picking up some parts from a Mazda dealer the other day there was a car hauler unloading a MisterBitchie Starion and a Series I Lotus Elan. I'd love to know the story behind those!
