I like it except for the two extra headlights and the cartoonishly huge wire wheels. The wheels remind me of that russian car made out of expanding foam.
Ya know, if they let this guy design the cars for Jag, I might not hate them anymore. I gave up when they redid the XJ (Yes, the one that looked the same for 30 years, That was a classic look) into a cartoonishly stupid A/M wannabe. This has potential.
Too bad Ford got rid of Jag and Aston. That body with a V12 under the hood would actually make me interested in a car that I have no way of affording.
As it is, back to my crapcans....
Put me down as not liking it. The back looks nice, but it has to lose the side scoop, the enormous badge on the side, and two of the four headlights. I don't think the brake cooling ducts help the looks either. I think the wheels should be a couple of inches smaller too and have a bit more tire sidewall, that front one just looks too big for the car I really like the overall shape of the car, I just don't think the front end works.
It reminds me of that 1953 Corvette replica based on the C5.
Bob
I WANT Give me that, the new Stratos, and an Abarth Esse Esse, only new cars I really want
I just looked at the picture, didn't read anything and thought, that's gonna be based off the XFR, I know it....and whaddya know!
It's pretty, except that rear quarter window looks a little bit awkward. The other thing is that it just isn't E-type enough. The only things that cry out JAAAAAAG are the round hole in the hose and the sharp cut tail lights.
Replace those two details and it could be anything... A reimagining of the C4 Corvette, the Toyota 2000GT, a Ferrari Daytona if you change the headlights a bit isn't hard to imagine.
It wouldn't take much for this to be an updated DB5. Or change that C-pillar and make it a modern day Jensen Interceptor. Yum.
It's O.K., but I like the looks of the original better. Now if someone would make a kit using a modern chassis and power with old timey looks, I'd consider draining the ol' 401K.
Wow. Nicely-done. It looks incredible in green and the center exhaust with the diffuser is a beautiful touch.
It looks like it would cost a fortune to manufacture, but it also looks very feasible. Just beautiful.
I agree.. lose the scallops on the sides and make a combo single headlight like porsche does.. and it would be all sorts of win
Or there's this cute lil alternative. I don't even wanna know the pricetag..
