Still a newbie compared to most but in for some support.
I bought some t-shirts, stickers and became a Patreon.
It is just a small token of appreciation for everything you guys do at the magazine. 2019 was also the first year I was able to attend the Challenge. I definitely plan on coming back .

Just reflecting the awesome back in your direction.
Just signed up as a forum supporter, will look at my subscriptions tomorrow. You all are the best group of people around so we need to all get through this together!
My GRM shirt and hat are prized possessions because Tim sent them to me as a thank you. My new one (2020 design!) will be as special. Thanks Tom for your heartfelt message.
I started to write this about four hours ago; since I'm preparing all of the meals and the post dinner time is family time, I'll conclude it now before I resume reading. The discussion was on the third page when I left, so I'll have missed anything posted after about 6:30-7:00.
Having lost my practice in the recession, I have to admit that I saw this coming.
That said, this is nothing like the Great Recession. That was a slow motion train wreck, this is a total and sudden train wreck, and I can't imagine how stressful this is for the Suddards and all of the GRM family. And that's what it is, a family business, or more personally and as I've said in the past, my favorite family business.
I really like the idea of a paid subscription to the forum. I pay $760 or 780 (I forget the exact amount) a year to belong to the Veterinary Information Network. Obviously, that's much more than an internet forum. We also can obtain consultations, read case studies, take continuing education classes, and much more. My point is, that there's a value to the forum, and I feel that it's reasonable for me, as a user of the forum, to expect to be able to contribute.

Yeah, but I think it's better to keep the overhead to a minimum. However, I still want a ride in the C5 (I got to sit in it and pick your brain when we got rained out last year at Daytona).
I'm in for the patreon support; not much yet. I have a job, but I'm sitting it out at home, I don't know when the next paycheck is coming.
In reply to Tom Suddard :
Maybe it's just me, but I was a little more comfortable with the PayPal idea than I am with the Patreon thing. Can we still go the PayPal route?

No joke, dude, I read that as hand-printing toe tags. No, GRM isn't toast yet. Not if we have anything to say about it.
In reply to Marjorie Suddard :
Many thanks! I will transcribe it as I also prefer recipe cards.
My wife hasn't been down to Gainesville in 10 years; I should make her come this year (if it all happens) so she can chat you up for more!

You can never be too prepared, right? Can I get in on the toe tags? I may need one one of those.
I can't wait for fall! Just ordered a beanie and a zippered hoodie.
I love y'all. I only have a few shirts I got from subscriptions over the years. Time to step up my GRM game.
I couldn't love GRM the magazine or the website more, and believe me, I don't like to be the P.C police or anything or the guy who has a problem with everything thing, but I do have a problem with this...
I find it a bit offensive that you use terms like “Forum supporter"....
too soon?
In reply to Tom Suddard :
This thing is fighting me. Firefox is blocking Patreon as a Social Media tracking device.
I just want to send you guys some money...GrrRrrMm...

I love you for this. I could not find a copy of this anywhere. That was an awesome thread. Thank you for bringing that memory back up for me and others who were there.
Ill toss my samoliens into the collection plate next. Just gotta get the last kid to bed.
Tom Suddard said:Sorry about that, shirt inventories are now updated. We've got plenty of XLs arriving on a truck tomorrow!
I wish there was a way to order back shirts in 2x sizes....my GRM 'ninja' shirt was in an unfortunate angle grinder incident. I'd love to replace it.
regardless, I will find a something to order tomorrow.
I just upped for two more years on top of my subscription. That should take me to 20 years of subscribing if I read my address label correctly. You folks rock!
Made an account and grabbed a subscription so hopefully every bit helps to keep you and the forums around for a long time!
Have subscribed to GRM and Classic Motorsports. Bought a shirt and sent some cash. Thanks for all you do.
Carry on. Please
Edit - reading through what I skipped and found the Patreon link. I'm in.
I blow more than 3 bucks a month on stupid crap. I know it's not much, but my sales have dropped dead as well this month.
Looks like I'm #30.
Send me the merch i bought once this pandemic is over. Keep the money for now.
Annnnnd also #31 ... You guys mean the world to me..
Mazdeuce once said to me
"Do Rad things...... and Rad things will happen to you."
You guys do Rad things and we will all support you until the world actually ends.
You'll need to log in to post.
