Just reminds me of work. I fix equipment like that.

That's for sure! Everyone has to go through that moment for themselves! But one of the benefits of being old and crusty is that you get to complain about kids now-a-days :)
What software do you use Wonko? I used to do programming in MasterCam and Gibbs. Been playing with Siemens NX lately and it's like driving a Race car in comparison.

We need to have a stupid engineering thread at some point.
I have a drawing from the old days where they spent weeks drawing it up only to be sent back when I asked them how they were actually going to install and torque the bolts which they requested be built literally into the machined part. There was much grousing that day.

Primarily Mastercam... What you doing with NX? Are you using it for the design side or the programming side, and what types of machines are you driving with it?
What a monumental waste of my time. I could have been at work earning the money to buy one of these. Say 10 to 20 million$ Usually I am looking at some chick when I say "did you see the rack on that"?
In reply to egoman:
9 minutes is a "monumental" waste of your time?
If it took you the whole 9 minutes to realize it, that's on you!
And, to be fair, I doubt that cost much more than $500k for that setup.. I could email some of my friends over there and find out, though.. :)
