http://www.zagato.it/ukzh3.htm no, no this how you do it. edit - stoopid link, just click on the Nissan badge for an early 90's restyle of the 300zx - Bambu and Seta.
Little known fact: Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 uses Nissan 300zx headlights. They put a little carbon fiber flap on top of the Nissan logo on the headlight glass.

And the Lambo Jarama used Fiat 124 coupe series 2 (BC) tail lights.
OP car looks a bit like a Group 5 Silhouette car.
Certainly looks more like a Group 5 car than it does a Murci...

That totally looks like a MR2 turbo from that angle.... except it's not a T-top.

they look way better on the twin-cam, and yes I get the MR2 instant similarity too.
the Bambu has the horrible Alfa rear bumper style - 175? looks like it's been rear-ended from one angle. The front whilst 850ish, is way too over-hung - great looking car otherwise. The twin-cam (AE86) has to be one of the best looking cars ever, esp. in the euro-spec above.
Oh noes! French taillights!
Also, Isuzu engine, Isuzu gearbox, Opel/GM gauges and switches, Rover window motors... Need I go on?
Parts-bin engineering is nothing new for Lotus.

Miura used '67 Fiat 850 spider headlights too. Before Fiat changed to the more uprights "Spitfire" style headlamps.

Little known fact... not all MR2 turbos were t-top cars. Just MOST of them (in the US).

No joke. Working in parts, Lotus N.A. sent an email out saying they were completely out of oil filters for elise/exige for all of the U.S. and told us to go to Toyota and get some. But I still love Lotus!
