Jeez, the ones where the car disappears down the side of the road leave me feeling...ugh. I lived on roads like that growing up, and had all sorts of visions like that.
In the French/Fin compilation, there are a stunning number of multiple crashes at the same corner. And, man, those Fins know how to wreck. I think about two cars crashed in the compilation that didn't wind up rolling over.
I always say the same thing but..can you imagine something like that taking place in the USA? Those cars are hitting homes/buildings, telephone poles, signs, knocking people over. Geeeeez, the lawyers here would be literally frothing at the mouth for a piece of that action.

Good God, did anyone else notice the driver's helmet fly off in the first crash of the French/Finnish video?
Gotta love a full roll over and just driving off.
Anyone notice the BMW hook hard enough in the corner to roll?
I had the "George of the Jungle" theme playing in my head....
"look out for that TREEEEE"
Those lanciias are sure tough, I think almost every one that crashed in that video (except the one in the water) was still drivable. lol
Is it just me, or is it kinda odd that the video is 'Best of Italy' and the majority of the crashes were French cars? Maybe it's an eyepoke...
Repeat to one's self: This is why I love watching rally, this is why I love watching rally..!

Of that whole video, I think my favorite was the one at 20 seconds, there is just a grassy embankment and one telephone pole. The guy hits the one telephone pole.
8:30-8:40 was my favorite.
Anybody have the video of the rally car VS. the cow? I think it must have been like 10 years ago.
I can't help but think two things.
Short wheelbase FWD cars are likely to roll.
And Lancia's are awesome.
Wow Group B was awesome. I just wasted way to much time on youtube.

Yeah, a tarmac-spec Delta Integrale just makes me warm and fuzzy inside.
I too was stunned at how easily a car rolls at speed (on a twisty road). Sobering.
The BMW at 4:36 made me want to weep.
The Lancia at 7:19 might have been my favorite. LOL

I will have to find it, but I have video of a GTC hitting a large hare at speed. Not pretty
Well after the cow, how about racer cars VS:

And just because it never fails to make me laugh Randy Johnson VS a bird

Understeer's a bitch, ain't it?
I really like the ones where they roll over, land on the wheels and keep going like nothing happened. The BMW at 4:43 is one of the best, and also the ones where those crazy rally spectators help push the car over
Audi-looking thing at 7:20 - "Abandon ship!"
Other car at 7:45 - "Oh look the rescue boat has arrived"
8:32 - "Phew, close one, at least the car's in one piece"
8:37 - "ZOMGNOOOOO!!!"
Italians may be crazy but Ohhhhhhh! Some of there cars are arguably better than... . . Well you know.
I put forth the Ferrari 250 GTO.

Lancias are great, and yes they do get squirrelly under hard braking. My Beta Zagato sure did. I can't wait until the Integrale Evo is 25 years old so I can import one.

He was launched at 88 mph.
Lancias are great, even if some had wishbone in the front and struts...in the back.
And that deer when back in time to meet his dad back in 1955...
