So in the last three weeks I've bought three trucks.
First was the 93 Blazer. E36 M3ty body work from a t bone. Runs but has electrical issues that I think will be easy to fix.
Then the 78 K10. Runs (needs fuel pump) but rusty as hell.
Now tonight I bought this 88 ex Air Force K30 3+3. Not rusty, some dents, not running "needs starter and battery.". Has the magic FF 14 bolt rear and the Dana 60 front.
OK so I have an addiction. My friends make fun of me. Original plan was SAS the Blazer and put the K10s sm465 and NP205 into it. I fell in love with the K10 and never really fell in love with the Blazer. Now this K30 comes along. I started this wanting more than 2 seats. The k30 is cool and I'd hate to part it out just for its axles. Build it using the sm465/np205 from the K10? I can make my money back on the K10 selling the engine and axles. I can use the Blazer for Challenge fodder. What does the hive suggest?
Keep K30, build it with K10 extra parts(if you really want a manual swap). beyond that dump the other two junkers.
Pitch the Blazer, part the K-10, do something awesome with the K-30.
i might have some interest in the blazer if it's from down there and not rusty. of course i don't have my new truck/trailer yet.
i'd off the blazer, part the k10, keep the k30 but cut it down to a crew cab short bed.
OK so everyone feels the same as me other than Mega-ram. Pat the Blazer is real clean under it. I was impressed even with it being a Florida truck. Let me think a few days and I'll get with you.
I've got an 84 GMC 3/4 ton Suburban I'm gonna put on South FL Craigs list this week you could add to your collection. 454, ARE wheels low miles tires, Pull Rite hitch (look it up), had a bunch of new parts put in it a few years ago but it's just sat since. Needs master cylinder and could be driven home.
Lol. Damn a man admits to an addiction and you just try to feed it. Ever thought about being a drug dealer? But yea send me some pictures. I've got a "friend" that might be interested.
i need a crew cab, just like that, shipping would prob kill me. LoL
What's bad is I've been looking for a Dana 60 for a few weeks. I've driven past this truck several times but stopped last Wednesday. It was about 100 feet behind the house and I didn't want to get into their business. I left my number at their front door. I took pictures and after blowing them up I could make out a FF rear and front hubs. Dude texted me Saturday saying that he might sell but wasn't free until Monday for me to look at it. I was like a kid waiting for Christmas those two days.
One of my dream builds is a slammed 3 + 3 dually with a stroked fuel injected 489 big block, 4L80E, 4.56 gears and a GV overdrive. Slammed, on bags, for towing of course. So of course that truck is my choice. Do something cool with it.

You should post that here.
Do something with the K30. The others are alright, but the K30 is awesome.
I'm still waiting on info on the suburban. I actually have a real friend that is interested.

Same here, but I want a 12V Cummins in it instead, turned up a bit.
To the OP, keep the K30! Part the K10 and get rid of the Blazer.
