Was at OG Racing in Sterling, Va again today. Over the years I've always noticed random oddball cars at the other end of the building, sometimes changing, but there were a bunch out front today that looked freshly-arrived. Mentioned it while in OG and one of the guys said that the owner constantly got odd/interesting/random cars and they'd come and go.
I said "I should tell GRM" and he said that Tim had already been there and knew the owner of this place..
So Tim, what's the story with it? And how do i become this guy's best friend?

On Monday, I discovered a nearly identical TVR, with a small tarp over the canvas top, parked in a driveway about a block from where I work.
Tim's at The Mitty this weekend (I'm home b/c it's Prom weekend for Katie), so you'll have to wait for his story. He has lots of those... I have found myself out of state with him many times when he's rolled into a shop, junkyard or just plain backyard "to check and see if they still have that [blank]." No wonder he checks Bring A Trailer before he even has his first cup of caffeine. Man is ate up.

apparently inside the building there are many dozen random other cars, including racecars. This is the first time I've seen the door open and someone there, but I was in a time crunch and couldn't stop in to inquire.

The guy at OG said something about how the guy buys cars that have good "trim" and other desirable parts that are hard to come by. Says that they come and go, generally in the enclosed trailers around the side. IDK, I'm betting Tim will shed light on it all once he's back :)

You have a daughter? Why haven't we been reading her stuff? I mean, she'd have to be like Jessi with those Suddard genes coursing through her, right?
I used to work at OG. I can't remember the owner's name (of the building, not OG), but trust me, inside the shop is even cooler.

Katie uses her Suddard genes only for car evil. I can vouch for this because I drove her e30 today, and it was so dirty, trash-filled and generally full of crap (seriously, there's a whole closetful of clothes in the back seat, just rolling around with papers, schoolbooks, empty cups and fast-food receipts), I expected the thing to whisper "kill me," like that poor glued-to-the-wall monster-incubating guy in "Aliens."
It's probably just as well, because speaking of Suddard genes, she has shown a scary talent for sales, and if she ever did decide she was interested in our world, I'm not sure we could keep up.
