This is our second Astro and I've always run some sort of passenger car tire on both vans, but I'm thinking of trying one of the all terrain offerings for light trucks. Tire Rack lists a half dozen choices. Any one have experience with AT tires on lighter vans? I'll be using some 8x15 wheels, so I'm thinking 225/70/15 or 215/75/15 for sizes.

Watch the overall diameter The later Astros don't have much room in the front wheel openings, tightened up for better aero. My '05 has 1 size over all seasons on it, slight rub on turns. More room up front on my '91.

General A/T, Firestone Destination A/T and the new BFG KO2 are all excellent options

I've run both tire sizes that I mentioned in the original post and neither rubs, so I'm sticking with what I know fits. I didn't realize they had changed wheel well size though.

The General was the tire that attracted my attention to all terrain tires in the first place.
