Lately we have had a lot of company, and today we were visited by the brain-trust behind the Concours d'LeMons. I'd say break out your polishing rags, but this isn't really that kind of show.

Jay is funny, but Alan is the one behind the shows. He also does Billetproof. He was today's visitor.
I was reading that very article today while my students were taking a test. I wanted to remember to google that low-production Pinto wagon fiberglass custom that was in the show in the article.
Only in GRM would we get excited over mint Pintos an Bobcats.

I saw one of those Pintos this weekend and the interior was partially disassembled. I can't say with absolute certainty, but it sure looked like those side panels were steel and not fiberglass.

I'll have to grab the mag but the one in the show was some sort of slantnose Pinto that is 1 of 2 known survivors of 200 produced.
I remeber hearing about a "Concours d'Ignorance" a couple years ago, but I thought it never happened. Is this the same people? If so, I liked the old name better, but I still throughly applaud the concept and wish it were located in a part of the country where I could attend it.
I used to ride Buell's with Alan. Great guy. Freaking enormous. It's like standing next to Sasquatch.
