1st question- How can you get temp into a tire that might be too much for the car? For example a light weight car with wide tires. 

Follow up question. Is there a better tire that can would when not up to temp?

When I first got serious doing track days with my ZX2SR I ran R Hoosiers.  I never could get them up to spec. temps.  They still worked good.   After some research I switch the A,s.   Temps were much closer to spec.   Times dropped.
