Ok im in the market for a in-lb wrench. looking for recommendations on a good unit. Price isnt a huge concern cause i do want a quality unit. Will be primarily used for engine rebuilds.

Thanks, Wes

the stahlwille ones are just awesome, but VERY expensive... like $600 expensive since the dollar took a dump a few years ago.

Inch pounds for rebuilds? Usualy inchpounds would be only for valve covers and oil pans and the like. A Horible Freight unit ought to be fine for that. I have heard good reviews for them on this site.

I have a proto inch/lb that works great. Not too pricey either.

If money isn't an issue, just flag down your local Snap-On/MAC/Matco truck.

If money isn't an option, HF torque wrenches are really no worse than anything else cheaper than the above options.

not sure what you are rebuilding, 4AGE cam tower bolts use 9 ft/#s, or 108 inch/#s

I got mine from Sears/Craftsmen. I use it 4-8 times a year, and unwind it each time...
