so when i get my car all put together and shaken down i'd like to get into track days and was wondering if there is an scca or nasa for the grassroots guy like me over there. all ive found are:
https://www.rmatrackdays.com/
http://www.zk-trackdays.com/trackdays
http://legendary-circuits.eu/race-calendar/
https://www.trackdays.co.uk/tracks/ - this one is the best but its all UK centered
is there anything im overlooking?
There's a good group in England who runs events at Spa and the 'Ring. I'll see if I can find the link.
Can go to the ring kinda whenever. Spa i'm interested in!
I emailed the German group in hopes they speak English because I don't know German LOL kine Deutsche
I think Destination Nurburgring is run by an English bloke?
You might check out the individual track calendars (assuming they have one on the web, and that you can find it, or that you can read it), and see if you can decipher the groups listed.
When you head to the 'ring... definitely rent a car (I had lots of good experience with Rent4Ring). Until you've got a bunch of laps, a Swift is about all you need. Also, the people running those outfits (especially Rent4Ring) often do other events around the area... and might be able to 'hook you into the system'

There are a bunch of great groups out there. All the Rent 4 Ring types are pretty helpful as well if you just pop by there shop to bs. I had no language issues as they cater to a very international group.
