I just bought a 99 Tahoe with 79K as a house truck. Would love to find a set of Ronals from a 2000 Tahoe Limited but am not holding my breath. Soooo what wheels? I am thinking 70s/80s truck Rallys. Other suggestions?

2wd or 4wd?
The 15x7's that came on the sport trucks and ss trucks of the nineties look great on tahoes. I assume its 2wd.
This is my '97 Tahoe with the SS/sport wheels on it and lowered 2/3.
the 15X8 wheels from the 80's trucks are what i had in mind when i saw the word "rally"..
they are available in both 5 and 6 lug flavors to cover both 2wd and 4wd...
Mine is a two wheeler. I like the SS and the Police wheels too. Definitely like Bobbys lowered truck. His wheels emphasize the trim. Not sure if I will go that way or monochromatic.
not the police wheels, altho they do use the same center caps... the 15X8 truck rally wheels have the right width and backspacing to look badass.. they are cheap, too- there was a nice set on one of the MN cl's a couple of days ago with caps and trim rings for $100..
Hmmmm. What would be required to convert this truck to six lug like the 4wds of the same year? I am thinking rotors and axles. Same six lug bolt pattern as 2000 and up? If so then wheel choices open way up.

around here people treat them as gold and ask that much per rim. i pieced mine together. my buddy gave me 2, i bought one at pull a part, and found one in someone's trash with a bad tire on it.
i bought an entire truck to get the 454 SS/sport style 15x7 chrome rims. i love them, but have a hard time deciding to run the steel rallys or the chrome ones. right now i have the chrome on the front and the rallys on the back.

axle shafts and drums from a half ton 4x4 and rotors from a 2wd light duty 3/4 ton
