I was thinking that a Time Speed Distance Rally club would be a fun four season idea in Michigan.

Does anyone actually do this as a hobby around here?

Has anyone actually ran an event or club?

My idea is to get a motorsport club together that is a travel club. TSD events, rallycross events and autocross events and the ocassional HPDE, low impact, low to no cost, and most importantly fun.

Am I all wet?

Some SCCA regions runs TSD's. There are local clubs that run them also. But I see what you are getting at.

The Detroit region of the SCCA holds TSD rallies. They have more information here: http://detroit-scca.org/e107/page.php?13. They also have many other events that fit into what you want.

I have put on events in the past and will hold more this year. I can help you get started if you would like some advice. Just let me know.

MSCC also does (or at least did) TSD's.

AROC doesn't. Not so much fun.

Give me a Gimmick rally.

I've run a bunch of TSDs with the Detroit Region SCCA. I think they're the only game in town in Michigan.
