Don't forget the restrictor for the M3 is in neck leading to the box that contains the ITBs. If a plug in the box fell out intentionally or unintentionally, they would have an advantage due to the OEM setup on the M3.

Ahh, yes, my bad.....I always forget the v8's have ITB's as well......but yes, the restrictor for them is right up at the front of that box where the throttle body normally would be on any other engine.

Wow, you are right. I would have guessed that would have been a bigger advantage though. They still needed a Rum Bum failure to "win".
