I am going to be a heretic here. I would rip out the engine and turbos and add a more modern ford V8 and be very happy with that. I bet that car with a coyote engine would be reliable AND be a riot (and damn near undriveable in the rain)

This seems like an awesome project but one that will always have the owner replacing something part of the car with something that is twice as strong as the previously broken part. Love the looks of the thing, the Diamante headlights was a genious move.
As I read the description, all I could hear was "Then I sobered up".
Willing to bet this needs a good bit of sorting before it became user-friendly.

I work about 4 miles from there.
Stock 5.0 blocks are supposed to be iffy at anything over 450hp, but that is double what they are stock, so just keep the boost down.
I need a spare 5.0 for building.

I was going to say - You should pick that up and cage it! Won't fit in the rules, but it would be fun!!!
