I must have posted my plans to build this table around a year ago. It takes me some time but get every thing done eventually. Sorry about the crapy cell pic.

Ya it a Porsche 928 block with 2 melted pistons. I was stoked to get to use the damaged bits. I only cleaned up the top of the pistons so the broken ringlands, rings, and melted bits are all there for the people that like to investagate that type of stuff.
-P wash lots of simple green -Drill and tap holes to mount rods (one bolt in each) -Cut piston skirts so they will sit flat -Dry and paint with gloss aluminum paint -DA all flat machined surfaces (stopped it from looking plastic-ish) -Make and stain oak feet (got to use a router for the first time) -Ordered glass locally cut for $80 25" X 36" (some places wanted over $130)
Use a glass company that cuts 3/8 in house for a better price
You wouldn't happen to have been finishing this up last night were you? I was totally building one of those in my head, except a little different. Perfect for a man cave...... looks great man!

The engine came out a my friend Glen's car. When he was not sleeping he said something about being greedy with the timing advance.
