Hey all,
I seem to find pictures and videos of this conversion all the time, however, I cannot find a build thread anywhere. I have found the converse engineering site, but I was hoping for a more detailed thread from someone that has done it. Has anyone else seen such a thread? Thanks!
brickboard has a v8 section... seems it's pretty dead these days... but info can be found on the googlez...
brickboard? thanks ill check that out. Yea I've been googling for days haha
I think it prob had been a better documented swap then it is now because of how many folks are making some serious power with the b230... I still think a v8 powered clean 745 wagon would be awesome though...
You can get some pretty good deals on the V8-swapped Volvos as well on the used market. They seem to post perfect examples for about $7000 on the Turbobricks board, and then it trickles down to about $3500 before selling.

I can only comment that a 5.0 efi looks like it was made to go in a 240. When I bought my 1800ES, the seller also has a 5.0 240 sedan with a 5 spd. If it had been a wagon we might still have it. Even my g/f liked it and she usually hates such things.

I think JTR has a book on this.
yes they do... for the chebby small block swap...
a small block and 5 speed for my 940 wagon would be cool
I feel like this is the C10 thread but different car body...
Converse engineering does the kit. I'm planning on getting a Volvo wagon this month. Do the swap later.
