Volksfest '09

My dad and I went to one of the best VW shows in Pa and maybe even the north eastern US. I took some pictures also. 224 to be exact. I wish I would have took some more. My buddy and his friends entered, my buddy has the yellow Corrado. It was the PERFECT day, beautiful weather starting was just in time, that brought out everybody. At least I would say maybe over 300 cars. This was my first real VW/Audi car show and is definetly not my last, I had too much fun. This was in Campbelltown, Pa near Hershey at a fire hall fairground. Sweet rides for sure. I want an Audi or a VW, A LOT now...... :lol: Enjoy anfd thanks for looking! This guy was representing, we got along! I wish I could have talked to him a little more but oh well. Kafer Cup!

Where was the show at?

I was in Ephrata, just north of Lancaster picking up a new car today and I saw a bunch of nice german cars running about.

Is this similar to gutfest 89?

Nitroracer-This was in Cambelltown, south of Palmyra but just before Hershey. We saw Golfs and Jettas running both ways and Bugs and some were even following us on 322 so that's probably what you saw, they were ether going to this or coming from this. You should have gone, what you get?

Sorry about that, should be fixed now, I figured you'd want to definetly see them. Had some nice Rabbits. I know for sure I'm getting VAG, if not probably a E28 or E30 so I definetly will have you in contact. I am wanting to get an 80's Audi Quattro with a 5 pot. for VW, A Scirocco, Caddy, Rabbit, MKII Golf, haha who knows!

I wish I could crash with the E30 (only german car i have), but ill be out of town for my brothers wedding. (convenient it would be if i was home, our house that my workshop is at is up there)

We made the trek up, stayed for about 20 mins. Sonic on the way back was more exciting.

must have been a lot of oil stains once that show cleared out That green rocco looks nice! VR6 is one of my top 15 best sounding engines with the right exhaust.

The sound is the only reason to keep one around.

ohh heck yes, the Audi 5 pot is one fo my all time favorites but second comes VR6 or VR5. We got to follow an awsome R with an upgraded exhaust. How come you didn't stay long? Sonic is always a great place to meet.

Don't know about the oil stains, but my buddy was over two weeks ago with his MKII golf, and theres an oil spot on the street.

Swap didn't have anything interesting and its rough dragging two little kids around. I only went because my wife wanted to go
