This is a pretty big chart which shows cubic inch CFM requirements at different RPMs.

A Chevette 1.6 is good to about 9000 RPM with a 250 CFM carb. If you oversize the carb it can lead to bogging and other low end driveability problems.
dirt track guys are using carbs up to 500 CFM on chevette motors. A guy who builds chevette motors told me they need about 300 @ 6500 so get a 350.
Does anyone know if there are any books on the Holley 5200 series that covers rebuilding? I found Holley Carburetor Haynes Techbook but I dont want to order it if it doesnt cover the 5200 series. I went to the local book store and all they had was a performance Holley book from S-A.
Weber 32/36 I think I have one on my Beatle. 1-937-275-9501 Is the number for Larrysoffroad.com Hope this helps.http://larrysoffroad.com/item523616.ctlg
As for rebuilding instructions you can get the Weber book on the 32/36 and it will get you there.
Is someone still looking for a Carb? I know where there are a number of them in my friends garage. I know that they all will need a rebuild. They came off of Ford 2.0L 4 cyl. 2.6L V-6 & 2.8L v-6 engines from the early 70's.
