buy one that's a rotbox underneath and use it as a donor for the harness/dash/windshield/smoke smelling interior bits? that is, if the one you have isn't rusty

I have pictures of my 4-door New Yorker Turbo on fire and me in my Papa Johns uniform somewhere. I should really dig those up and scan em.

I feel your pain. Sorry.

It doesn't really look too too bad...to me, anyway. If you have a friend who is more savvy with wiring, maybe they could help you make this thing work again. There's also Painless Wiring, which has complete wiring harnesses for common vehicles, as well as some 'custom' applications...maybe they might have something that could help get you going again. Either way, good luck to you!

Here's the link for Painless Wiring...assuming we're allowed to post web links here... http://www.painlesswiring.com/

If its to become a race car, you don't need to wire things like signals, horn, wipers, ect...Should make it easier to do.

Thanks, I hadn't thought about Painless. When I get home, I'll have to look into them.

I had planned to drive it on the street some, to events and stuff. I don't have a car trailer or a good tow rig.

Always seems to be a good supply of Fieros on the local CL around here for some reason. (Pittsburgh) I drive past on on the way to work that is so clean, it looks new. Black with chrome wheels, really nice. Worth the effort to replace IMHO.

and if you want to have a shop do the wiring, i know someone. depending on what you want, you can do with an 8 or 12 circuit painless harness. make itfit right, add some aftermarket gauges, gut what you dont need, and go.
