Didn't go, but MAN! was attendance down this year!? I remember seeing 60+ cars in FS and SS not that long ago!?

You must be thinking about Solo nationals in Topeka/Lincoln in September. Peru is part of the national tour schedule. A series of smaller national events run thruout the country during the year leading up to nationals in September.

The car is on loan, so it gets Manufacturer tags from Michigan (which is where most of the M-tags are issued.)

The MX-5 spends most of its time in Indiana with Woody and Trent from the Tire Rack.

I met John when he brought the GRM STR MX-5 to an SCCA event here in the Chicago area. He was really nice and he drives pretty well too.
