Not to jinx anything, but the GRM crew–largely based in Central Florida–has weathered Hurricane Nicole. A few of us are without power but, by and large, this one wasn’t as bad as Ian. Thoughts are with our flooded locals, though.
Thank you for all of the check-ins, and now back to your regularly scheduled internetting.

Sure, you survived, but we gotta put up with arctic weather for next 6 months........
Worse, autoxing STOPS and our sports cars are in mothballs. You guyz think you got it tough..
And finally 'globull warm-ink keeps the ice on the lakes from being at least 18" thick..
So ice racing will be shortened...
Have a little empathy will ya?

I almost talked SWMBO into stopping by on our way home, but wasn't sure anyone would be at the office.
Also, "there's something in here..."
Shows how little I've been attention to the weather lately, didn't even realize Florida was hit again so quickly.
Glad everyone is OK.

Oh yes, a rare November hurricane. Not as violent as Ian, but damage along the coast.
