West Central FL Meet & Greet

Figured we have hijacked Duke's thread enough to start our own thread.

With at least one Northern board member being in town I think this holiday season may be a good time for a meet and greet. Based on his schedule I am suggesting a get together somewhere in the greater Tampa Bay on Saturday the 28th. If we choose a Saturday we could do a lunch or dinner get together depending on what works best for people.

What say you?

I'm in N Pinellas so St. Pete is 35 min., Sarasota 1hr, Tampa 30 min, Ruskin ~1.5 hrs.

I'm a definite maybe. Should be good to drive down, but may have to entertain family.

I live in Lake Mary, and I'd like to meet some of you guys. I've been pretty inactive up until now, looking to change that.

May be able to, have family in and a huge list of car projects, but very interested. Palm Harbor but will travel.

Same here. I have my son for x-mas vacation so i won't be doing anything unless it's with him. But if we want to have a monthly get together I'm set for January.

How does somewhere in Brandon sound for those available? There's a "Miller's Ale House" on SR 60. Never been there but they have 75 beers on tap so everyone should be able to find something that works for them. Brandon is relatively centrally located but if anyone has any other ideas, fire away.

Does the 28th at 1 work for people? I figured a lunch would allow those with kids to bring them and also not keep anyone away from families for dinner, etc. Again, I'm open to suggestions for other dates/times.

The 27th would be much easier for me, but that's just me. The 28th is fine if it works for everyone.

Nope. Same owner. Just built one in Sabel Park near Faulkenburg and MLK. Twice the size and 2 tracks.

I am game but $$ will likely keep me away. Now if someone wants to buy a cheap Integra or a fairly priced SVX I can guarantee I'll be there! Maybe next month

I'm out for this month, too. This would be a cool monthly meet, though.

I'll make the trip from West Palm if there is a second one, too much going on with family on the week of the 23rd.

Making this a regular thing is a great idea. I second monthly meets.

normally I'd be in....the 28th may not work for me this month, though. (I may be with the the family that weekend.) I'm interested in other months, though

Either would work for me. Would be a fun time to meet some new friends.

I might be able to swing the 28th, but January is definitely easier to plan. Seems like the best time for most of us.

So what's going on with this? I didn't speak up earlier because I didn't know if I'd bramble to make it, but it's looking like I may be able to. So is it on or off for the 28th?
