Looking for a better then oe set of pads that won't squeal for my wife's 2011 Nissan Rogue.

Does anyone have any opinions for Hawks PERFORMANCE CERAMIC - LUXURY & TOURING COMPOUND?

There a bit pricy at around $200 for a front and rear set but they are at least a name I have heard of.

If anyone has any other recommendations I would appreciate that input as well.

Thanks in advance.

As hard as it is to imagine, I've had pretty good luck with Autozone Gold pads on my E150. Quiet, not too dusty, never fade, and haul the beast down from speed without a qualm and last about 70K. They are also only about $55 a set.

I've never used Hawk pads, but the EBC Yellows I put on the Thunderbird SC worked well but could be a little noisy when cold.

Just bought Hawk LTS for SWMBO's XJ, haven't put them on yet but I read enough good to convince me to spend over $70 on a set of pads for a Jeep. Paired with a set of Centric E Coat rotors I don't anticipate any issues stopping.

I have Hawk HPS on our Sequoia (and on our 4Runner before it). Yes, they make HPS for SUVs, who knew. Anyhow, they are silent, low dust, good bite, just like on my cars. Also plenty of stopping power for towing

Anything but the EBC green stuff . The only pads I have ever thrown away before they were done.

I would imagine that most performance street pads will give you a little more stopping power without squealing. I have EBC redstuff pads, and they work well without squealing.

Don't let her find out that you don't think her life is worth $200. Sleeping on the couch sucks.

Duralast Gold. If they are good enough for the two-time GRM $20xx Challenge Autocross-winning Jeep Cherokee XJ-R, then they are good enough for any SUV!

I use Akebono EuroPro pads on anything they're available for. Quiet, non-dusty, good feel and life.

Same here for the same reasons.
