I picked up a free gas powered pressure washer. It runs great, but the reason it was free is that the previous owner put it away wet and when the temperature dropped, it froze up and the pump housing cracked. Now it blows water straight out onto the ground. I hate to junk a good engine, but I have no real use for this thing.
I may actually use the frame to build rain canopy for my generator.
What can I build that can use this engine?
Surely you people must have some ideas....

Cyclekart...Just need to figure out some kind of right angle drive for it. Maybe belt driven?

Hovercraft
This is the correct answer.

Somewhere in that barn, there's another salvaged engine. That one is a 5hp horizontal shaft Briggs. That would be the cyclekart engine.

About 20 bucks on Craigslist.
Or, if you'r feeling froggy, a gas powered floor sander. Possibly put bicycle wheels on it, attach some blades to the output shaft and make a redneck bush hog.
Guess you could buy a new pump and make a pressure washer out of it. Looks like 2800 PSI pumps can be had for around $85

Get a new pump for ~$50 and sell it for $100.
If it has the hose and wand put new pump on it and put it to work, or sell it.

Sadly, that won’t work. You could see how well it runs on it’s side though, since it’s a four stroke and air cooled. I’d drop it onto a push mower and add nitrous. This way, you only have to mow once a month. And when the grass is knee tall, hit the nitrous button.

Yeah, but then you have to give your mower a race livery so people will know that it's a high performance machine...
do you already have a pressure washer? you can get new pump heads off amazon, I did for mine.
To all those suggesting a hovercraft, go do some reading, every time I get the hovercraft bug I waste too much time looking at plans and specs and come away amazed at how much power they need. Then I think about it a min and realize it's not so crazy after all when you consider where the lift comes from. That 6/7hp engine ain't going to lift much at all.
Is it powerful enough to be a hovercraft lift motor? If so, do that.

Came here to post number one, but both are the best answers so far.
