Well, an Australian XB Falcon is perfect for a road warrior, dog, and lady, but it fails the towing requirement. 
It would mean plenty of room for the dog to lie down if the hatchback isn't taken up by 55 gallon drums, though.
For towing, this seems like a Tahoe, Suburban, or Excursion, one of the big truck based SUVs.
