I've wanted a '58 Voyager wagon since forever, not a realistic goal of course.
More probable is this 1950s Brockway for ~$1500. I would channel the body down, put the suspension in the dirt, remove the roof and make a bigass Speedster. Running back and forth to the airport two miles away it holds more crap than a motorcycle.
My random obsession of this week has been cheap Jags, for whatever reason, but I'm sure that will come to pass within a couple more days. Anyone else have that problem, where you spend a couple days researching and obsessing over a hypothetical project only to switch gears in short order?
I'm digging the big barge of a coupe and especially the race truck ideas as well, as those seem to be regularly recurring obsessions of mine as well.
'07+ 2500 GMC Sierra 4x4 Duramax Allison SLE+ extended cab.
I also want a Golf GTD but that was a pipe dream even before Dieselgate.

Doesn't sound like a problem. Compared to automotive ADD sufferers, it sounds like you have a relatively cheap way to get bored with a wide variety of cars.
I've done that a few times. Audi R8 and Nissan LEAF come to mind.

Porsche Cayman GT4, but I'd settle for a Fiesta ST. Or maybe a '70 Barracuda.
AW11, as usual. Pretty good performance-wise too, but SO COOL

Can I borrow some of your enthusiasm so I can start working on the one parked behind my house?
My parents just bought a 2014 Infiniti Q60x (aka G37x Coupe), and after driving it a couple times, I found that I like it. But the G37 IPL has piqued my interest.
The IPL has 340hp, different wheels, different suspension and the Brembos, and more. It's basically a S package G37 with a few more tweaks.
I also still want a Challenger R/T:
Oh, and I want one of these too:
F150 Tremor. Short bed with the Ecoboost V6. Looks cool.
Something big and comfy that will scratch the V8 itch:
I want to do a coast to coast road trip in a vintage Microbus.
And sometimes I miss riding a motorcycle. For some reason, I'm really drawn to the looks of '70s Japanese bikes. How about a Goldwing Standard?

Econoline Cargo Van. I'd want a running project to make it mechanically sound and so some random road trips. Like the farthest four corners in the U.S.

Thinking alike, I am digging Church's VanGo...or a viper.
Or: On the way to work I drive by a Cadillac dealer, a Chevy dealer, a Chrysler dealer, and a Nissan dealer so there are Corvettes, Caddy V-mobiles, and Challengers to ogle every day but for some reason I've found myself wanting one of these.

I want a new mustang. It's not GRM in the least, I probably can't afford to replace the tires on it, but that is what I would love to have right now.
If that won't work I'll settle for a locust or locost. But that mustang...oof.

My fear is that this is actually a symptom of the early phases of a degenerative condition that leads down that path. I'm probably about two steps away from having a yard full of junkers
Older:
Early Acura NSX
JDM Honda Beat
Newer:
Honda S660. Not sold in USA
Nissan iDX. Not sold anywhere
I've been thinking about this all morning and the only car I can think of that would actually get used would be a rallycross/kid teaching car. If I didn't have to worry about money I'd head over to my local VW dealer and buy a manual GTI with plaid seats. The Focus ST might be a better car, but the plaid seats are way cooler, and I want them.
I'd like a TRD Pro.
I'd also love to be able to get one of these for pavement stuff:

oddballs: bmw e9, s2000, w124, lexus lc500, amg gt, c5 corvette, ae86/aw11, 300zx tt, na miata, fd rx7
That'll do it.
