Mostly indoor projects. Installed the 3rd and last of the huge 3'x7' book shelves I got from our defunct catalog library at work. Shipped out 5 sold eBay items (and found a FedEx Office store that's open 24 hrs). Hopefully over the next couple of days some more crap will go on eBay to bring in some cash and free up space.
And pulled the Mini out of winter storage in hopes the snow storm we're supposed to get will miss us and I can take it to a club meeting this coming Saturday.
Lexan windows on the rear door of the rallye30. not bad for my first attempt at making windows :)
Finally fixed my radial arm saw after having the parts for a month.
Started cleaning and rebuilding the spare holley for the duster.
Finished and attempted to install the sub on the hatch. Need a longee amp power cable and some 14ga speaker wire.
Stripped anodization off some trim for the elky.
Did an engine bay restoration on a 64.5 mustang that cought fire.
I been busy this weekend.
Saturday, me and Mrs. Slammer cleaned and maintenancized the new (to me) Tow Pig. I ran a comp check with glorious results (159-174) for a motor with 233K miles. Mrs. Slammer removed large amounts of dog hair and tobacco remnants from the interior.
Installed the grill I've been restoring for my 67 Camaro.

I dug mine out of the snow last night and drove it to work today. Big accomplishment, it feels like spring.
Pulled the front bumper , fenders, and doors off my miata I'm parting out. Doors came off way easier than I thought they would.

After having it sit on the shelf for two years in its unopened shipping box, I broke out the Donjer flocking kit and flocked my dash. I also took the opportunity to seal up the airbag cover on the passenger side, more securely mount the three-gauge pod on the top of the dash and tidy up the associated wires, and install a new cooling fan switch. Then I powerwashed my muddy rally tires, vacuumed up as much of the dirt as I could out of the inside of the car, and got the last of the sticker residue off the C pillars -- for some reason, the CRC and GRM stickers were fine, but the eBay Motors sticker left a massive amount of adhesive behind. Even though I'm planning to repaint the car when it warms up a bit, I touched up the lettering on the side to make it a little more presentable for the meantime and also hit the exterior plastic with some Back To Black. I got my new GRM number panels adhered to some magnetic sheeting I bought from McMaster-Carr and got my numbers from SPS set up as well as my new class panels. I finished out the night by swapping out the hood pins with a set that I had soaked in vinegar for about a day to get the rust off, and used some bits of fuel line hose around the pin studs to make the hood sit nice and tight. It's amazing how motivating a car show can be...

Until the last sentence, I was going to make a snarky car show comment.
I continued to take the flathead apart, got two valve springs off, got irritated because that took 2 hours, and cleaned some of the gunk off of it

Nice piece. That looks great.
Picked up an accelerator cable for my Super Six two-barrel carb swap. Still hesitating about ordering an electric choke. Yes, I'm cheap. But I do want it to be easy for certain others to drive, and they don't have any idea what a carburetor choke is, much less how to work it.
Oh, yeah. Apparently an accelerator cable is considered an interior parts on parts searches. Go figure.
Made a checklist of all the E36 M3 I need to finish on 3 of 6 cars marked as project.
On said checklists, I categorized them (engine, brakes, body, etc) and made a good estimate of how long it will take to finish it. When I have the allotted time, I will attempt to complete said task . . . I have an hour? Checklist says . . . Brakes!!
Hopefully this will keep me on track

Finally installed the RokBlokz mud flaps on the Subaru, because rally car. Also redid the decals in the side windows (lost the Subaru and re-added GRM / rallycross) for a cleaner look, and got both GoPro Hero2 cameras synced on the wrist remote. Yay for mental health vacation days.

I feel like such an under-achiever... I just did oil changes. lol
The roads are clear, even though there's still some snow around.
Snapped a good pic leaving work last night.
Replaced the mass air meter in the car today, it feels like I gained about a hundred horsepower. New wheels and tires are going on this weekend, so I'll get a couple good burnout pics.
Overall, great week to be a car guy.
Went to realign the duster last night and found berkeleyed front wheel bearings. Replaced those, and discovered the rear axle was crooked. Broke a lowering block. While removing those and lowering the rear property I ripped the rear brake line in half. Son of a....
Finished my modified exhaust for my RX-8 and got it installed today.
- Cat delete (for track only) and modified muffler internals. I bought a used cat pipe and removed the cat and replaced with tubing. Not pictured is the O2 bung I also welded in.
Then I bought a stock cat back from a Series 1 RX-8 and modified the internals.
Stock (Flow comes in from the top of the picture):
Modified (ignore ugly welds). No real theory applied to the design other than hopefully freer flowing and less drone due to muffler volume.
All welded up:
Then, since this was a Series 1 exhaust going on a Series 2 car, I needed to move the exhaust tips. A little more cutting and welding later:
No pictures on the car yet. I did start the car and let it warm up. It sounds pretty good, but it won't be on the road for a while yet so I won't be able to test it under load.
This wasn't all done today, I started at the end of January and finished up today working a little at a time.
Does sitting at work bored out of my skull day dreaming about what to do to the Charger count?

I woke the dead! With very minor tinkering, I got my recently-purchased 1978 Porsche 924 running for the first time since 2002. I was amazed! The clutch and brakes are even operational, too. It's better to be lucky than good.
Finished removing a Goldwing engine from the frame.
Pulled out the glider, rubbed out & waxed everything gelcoated.
