FYI there is basically no relation between the old vs new 5.6.  The new DI "Endurance" 5.6 has been around a few years in the QX56 or QX80 whatever (I can't keep up with their name changes).

The direct injection fuel pump is around $1500 for the part alone. Had to replace one at work due to low fuel pressure codes.

That’s an interesting article.  So basically this DI is up about 80 hp on the prior generation.  They must be playing some games with torque management because it sure doesn’t feel like it.  Again, I much preferred the last generation Armada (same gen as the thread title) to either the new Titan or the QX80.
