In reply to Datsun240ZGuy :

They have built gutted race versions of the Odyssey and an Acura MDX that was insane. They show up pretty regularly at Barber events, even some autocrosses in the past.

Those were both originally built for the One Lap of America, but continue to live on in both NASA and GridLife.

Separately and sadly, the Thunderhill 25H is no more.  So THR-W brought the circus out to COTA to compete with WRL in the year-end event for that series.  With a lot of wet weather in play, tire choice was key and we made the best of it.  Top-5 finishes both days, and an almost-podium on Sunday.  Got passed on the final lap after 7 hours.

Best of all, since I live in Austin, we had the whole team out to the house for some grub and good times.

They say it's supposed to be back in 2025, possibly with an altered format (probably split into two pieces rather than racing all through the night).

The date conflict with the COTA WRL event hurts either way.  And Lucky Dog on the west coast stole a bunch of their teams, holding their final/championship event at Thunderhill just a couple weeks prior.

It was on the morphine drip for the past couple of years with super low participation.  I'll be surprised if they can make it work again.  It was a good run while it lasted, though.
