My friend sent me these pictures... What is it? Is it worth trying to acquire?

It's an Iso. They were the Italians responsible for the Grifo, an iconic supercar. That particular Iso is a Lele (not the best name in the world), but it should be packing either a Ford or Chevy V8.

I know, right? The owner's not looking to sell, which is unfortunate, but she's got lots of other cool cars under that same roof.

I'm trying to get a feel for how much it's worth, but can't find anything concrete.

I'm guessing its a Iso Rivolta? Probably sbc power?

but I've never seen one that looked that "new" (meaning late 70s - 80s).

Yes, you want.:

An old ('97-'98) Classic Car buyer's guide that I have lists the price for a nice example as about $25,000. Of course, it's probably about double that now.

Sick car--I too have never seen that body style.

Italian chassis w/ American V8 is a wonderful thing.

racinginc215 wrote: Yep it's an ISO Lele. and I've had the privilege of driving one. Neat cars the early ones were 327 Chevy with turbo 350 transmissions then the 350/350 GM got all strange and demanded payment up front and ISO switched to Fords Later 351 Cleveland's and Cruisomatics. ZF 5 speeds either engine. 285 of them built. 135 Ford Powered 112 327 chevy 13 350 chevy then 25 more powered by the Cobra Jet 351 in special trims. The car is worth some money mecanicals are pretty easy to source as it's American Iron. body and Interior would be on par as finding crack in a monestary. Look at min 20K if it's as good as it looks I say higher then that. newest it could be is 74 oldest is 69

yeah, interesting cars...

Interesting:
