The first Saab I've ever wanted. What is this creature?
Still front wheel drive if that changes your mind. Neat little cars though. The V4 should have the same bellhousing as the Ford Cologne V6 (ie a 2010 mustang 4.0L 210hp 240 lb-ft).
I've never seen one with AC. Seems overpriced with the rust and lack of title. Also looks like the front clip has some damage.
It's a gutless V4 plastic Saab. You want it because you don't have enough pain in your life yet.
Many moons ago, a guy named Tom Jones had one as an ice racer with a 911 engine.
A man has to earn a living but he is being disingenuous. If the fix is so easy why hasn't he done it? The fiber glass is cracked where the front end mounts - that sounds horrible. I owned a 74 for about six weeks just got it as a flip. I was surprised how quick it was for such a tiny engine. Lots of unique parts on it though. The strut brace is also the radiator reservoir!
I am also in Texas and bonded titles are $115 near me. $15 to the dmv and $100 to the bondsman.
I think I would pass on this one at this price. I am cheap though....
I always wanted to drop one of those bodies onto a locost like chassis with a proper front engine/rear drive layout.
same bellhousing as the Ford Cologne V6 (ie a 2010 mustang 4.0L 210hp 240 lb-ft).
That would be wild in a car that light. Well, mostly it would just spin its tiny little tires, i guess.

It’s been on my dream list for awhile, but that would only be if I had all the fabrication skills and tools ever. As with most Saab’s, they are Beautiful, but wrongly made.
ill never understand some companies. It’s like they are gluttons for failure.
Saab does have it's own logic when it came to building their cars, but aside from changing timing chains or transmissions, their cars are not all that hard to work on. A Classic 900 has the worlds easiest clutch to change. Even things like replacing the heater control valve is not all that difficult if you are semi-flexible enough to reach down through the dashboard mounted speaker openings.
