I contend that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Scandinavians. Seems like they have everything under control.

Its a 2-stroke. There isn't one. From the factory there is an oil pump that mixes into the fuel at a pre-determined ratio, but most people remove it and pre-mix into the fuel tank.
We have that engine on my dad's boat.
I first met one of those engines back in the mid 80's when I was tasked to bolt two of them on to the back of a transom. It was my first outboard install job. Also had to figure how to make one run backwards.

that's a trick question: "Positraction" was a GM marketing term from the 60's. but it did work similarly to the Sure Grip differentials that Mopar used..
