I keep going forth about the Civic. I really want turbo power and I keep having this want for a Saab 900 or 9000 (or pretty much any other turbo hatch). But the Civic is payed for, doesn't need much work and I could really use to save the money for a honeymoon, other projects and a house downpayment one day. The Civic is also decent on gas, decently fun and has been reliable for the most part. The problems it has are the trunk just started leaking (no idea where that came from), the transmission leaks, the paint on the rear bumper is pealing, the A/C doesn't work and the driver's seat is in really bad shape. Oh and one of the tires is mismatched (stupid tires going out of production and then getting a hole in the sidewall of one). Someone talk me down...
The answer is MX6 GT. 
Ok but really... fix the Civic. Everything will cost like.. a dollar.
Deep down, you know anything you buy will either have or develop a list of issues that long in the first six months...
But fixing the turbo problem is more expensive.

Fixing a turbo problem is always just "MORE BOOST!"
You rode in my car... it was hobbled by a bad clutch, low boost, and a leaking turbo/manifold gasket at the time. You know how little i have in that thing.

This. Turbo the Civic. When you finally put too much boost to it and pop the motor, yank it and put in a B18 or K20... and turbo that
All civic transmissions leak, no matter the year.
