Seats are from a aircooled 911, were rotting in the basement. Tubing is exhaust tubning, and some other junk I had lying around.
I just turned my spare Corbeau into a workshop seat. It was also initially intended for a SIM seat. But after a couple of years of rotting in the rafters and a failed CL attempt, it's getting g some use.
You made it look simple and compact. Time to get motivated to finish the job.
I have an NA miata seat that is collecting dust in the garage that I've been looking to do something with. It's either something like that or a new seat for the office.
Gotta build me one of these...but it will be a fancy one that folds into an ottoman, has a built-in screen and has a ton of fans to keep me from sweating my ass off, it's hot enough around here just sitting still.
Finally the paint is dry and it's reassembled. After the first test drive, not bad for a sim made out of junk I happened to have lying around :-) ]
