Two cheap Porsches!!
That's what I just bought.
This one (Thanks Josh!), and another which I haven't actually seen yet, but is supposedly in similar condition. $500 for the pair. I'm thinking make one runner, and use the other as an unusual locost donor.
Thoughts?
ROFL! Good luck, man! I'd love to see ya pull up at the local chapter of the PCA with that thing.
Although these days, I'd bet the older guys would rather see a 924 than another upstanding family man in a Cayenne...

Funny you should say that. Several years ago, I had another 924 (which I also paid $250 for) that I took to the Pacific Northwest region PCA autocross several times. It was entertaining to know that I paid less for my entire car than the guy in the new twin trubo 911 paid for each of his tires.
I was having just as much fun as he was, though.

Heh.
My daily driver is a '91 BMW 750iL with the V-12. I've put about 105,000 miles on it in the last 4 years and repair costs haven't been bad at all.

I heard that BMW V12 is actually more reliable and it's V8.

I would agree with that, but when they go bad they really go bad. Just walk away with the car on fire it will be cheaper in the long run.
